Clark Matschek has maintained a residential landscape design practice in the Pacific Northwest since 1978. His work, located primarily in Oregon and Washington, ranges from intimate urban gardens to expansive estate properties and reflects long-standing collaboration with architects and builders.
His projects include master planning, water features, and the integration of landscape with architecture.
For many years, Clark worked in collaboration with horticulturist Marsha Matschek, whose experience in Portland’s collector gardens informed the plant composition and garden culture of the work. Now retired from active practice, her influence remains part of its history.
