 Matschek & Associates focuses on residential design in collaboration with architects, contractors, and artists in every scale, from detailed condominium yards to large estate acreage. Most of our projects are located in the northwest, primarily in Oregon and Washington.

Clark specializes in Master Planning, water gardens and hardscape design. Being in private practice since 1977, he has over 40 years of design experience. He has a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Oregon and is registered with the State Of Oregon, license number 68.

Clark’s wife Marsha Matschek is a horticulturist and has consulted with the company since 1994. Marsha worked extensively in some of Portland’s most renowned collector’s gardens. She worked for 20 years side-by-side with Lady Ann Kerr McDonald as head gardener as well as with Lady McDonald's sister Jane Platt. Although Marsha is retired, she continues to consult with Clark regarding plant composition and maintenance
